Enrollment Deadline

Rolling deadline: for students who would like to enroll, simply go to our registration section and enroll as soon as possible. Limited space remains in all three sessions; once the last beds are full, we will close the enrollment, or one week before each session, whichever occurs first.

When you register, please pay your tuition in full if possible.

Enrollment Process

Admission is rolling and subject to class size. We do not require letters of recommendation, transcripts or essays. Online applications will be accepted up until the program is sold out or one week before your desired session start day. It is recommended that all students complete their online application and deposit as early as possible to reserve their seat.

Application Deposit – $250

A non-refundable deposit of $250 per student per week is required to reserve your space. The deposit will be applied to your full tuition. Your final payment and student profile are due by June 1. For students applying after June 1, the full program tuition is due upon completion of your application.

Optional Airport Transportation Service

We offer pick-up and/or drop-off service from Newark International Airport (EWR). One-way service is $95; round-trip is $175. Staff members escort students to and from campus. Centenary College provides or arranges for all vehicles and drivers. Please e-mail us your actual itinerary and receipt from the airline, clearly listing the airline, flight number, times and student name as soon as possible. Student itineraries and payment must be submitted by June 1.

Refund Policy

On or before June 1 – All tuition, including any additional charges, will be refunded excluding the $250
non-refundable deposit, per student, per session.

After June 1 – No tuition, including any additional charges, for any student who withdraws or is
dismissed for any reason will be refunded.

Tuition and Fees

Students can attend any and all sessions of CSS. Students who choose the same course for multiple sessions do not repeat their curriculum, rather they continue learning at the same pace. Organized into week-long modules, each curricula contain many weeks worth of work. We encourage students to attend multiple weeks and give discounts to students attending multiple weeks. Also, residential
students who stay on campus in between enrolled sessions do so for FREE!

Payment Timing – Pay On Your Schedule!

Once a student’s account has been established by registering and paying the deposit, additional payments can be timed to your schedule. You can log in and pay any amount at any time without penalty. So whether you want to log in weekly and make small payments of varying amounts, or monthly, or even log in once and pay the balance in full, our system will accommodate your payment timing with no additional fee, problem or hassle. Simply log in and pay what you can, when you can, until your balance is zero. We make this as easy as possible.

Multi-session Pricing Discount – Attend More Than One Session and SAVE!!!

Our program is built around one-week-long modules.  If you choose to attend any week, you will have a fantastic experience.  That being said, though, in our experience students who attend more than one session extend and expand their experience exponentially.  Once the students get in the groove, and are really focusing on their academic and social experience, we find that their experience in the second and/or third session that they attend is that much more important and powerful.  The student at that point understands the schedule, the teachers, and the opportunity at hand.  So while we build the program around a one-week experience, we do encourage students to take advantage of the opportunity by offering discounted pricing on multi-week attendance.

Residential students experience the complete College experience while Day students enjoy the convenience of sleeping at home.  All student will have a transformative and profoundly important experience at Summer Scholars.

Residential Students

Tuition includes: Private room in a suite, 3 daily on-campus meals, camp activities, course materials, facilities charge and usage, and academic field trips.

Day Students

Day runs from 8:45am–7pm (see weekly schedule; Sunday check-in 1–3, Friday’s schedule late pick-up 10pm as schedule differs). Includes all course materials and facilities charges, lunch and dinner, and activities.

Saturday Stay-over – Free!

Free for all students staying from one session to the next. Includes Saturday night stay with 24 hour supervision and all meals except Saturday lunch, as the students will typically be off-campus enjoying a neat trip to a local fun destination chosen by the students.
